Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacist to join our team under the Tamheer program. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting patient care initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and upholding the highest standards of medication safety and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of pharmacy-related functions, including program management, administrative support, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Support and Management: Assist in the oversight and evaluation of assigned pharmacy programs, focusing on operational efficiency, quality assurance, and financial performance. Implement best practices and ensure adherence to regulatory standards in medication management to maintain compliance and optimize service delivery.
• Administrative and Operational Support: Provide essential administrative assistance for pharmacy-related patient service initiatives, including coordination with healthcare teams and stakeholders. Support the development and execution of programs designed to improve medication safety and patient care outcomes.
• Adverse Event Management: Collaborate in the review of reported adverse drug events, ensuring thorough follow-up actions are taken to mitigate risks and enhance patient safety. Monitor medication expense trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining high-quality care standards.
• Medication Processing and Accuracy: Process daily medication requests with precision and timeliness, adhering to established protocols for approvals and documentation. Conduct necessary rework changes to correct discrepancies and ensure accuracy in medication dispensing and administration.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Patient-Centric Approach: Demonstrate a deep appreciation for the unique medication needs of diverse patient populations, spanning from pediatric to geriatric individuals. Tailor pharmacy services to meet age-specific requirements and ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
