Key Responsibilities

As an ER General Physician, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Comprehensive Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough patient evaluations, meticulously documenting findings to ensure accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment plans.
• Patient-Centric Care: Design and execute evidence-based care plans, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of medical attention while addressing their unique health needs.
• Health Education and Empowerment: Educate patients on their health conditions, necessary investigations, treatment options, and proper medication usage. Promote health awareness by guiding patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare measures relevant to their cases.
• Diagnostic Oversight: Order and review diagnostic tests, interpreting results to inform clinical decisions and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Medication Management: Prescribe medications with precision, ensuring safe and effective treatment protocols are followed.
• Specialty Referrals: Identify and refer complex cases to specialized clinics for further evaluation and treatment, ensuring seamless continuity of care.

Work Environment and Schedule

This position operates within an indoor-focused healthcare setting, ensuring a structured and supportive environment for delivering exceptional medical care. You will be expected to work:

• Six working days per week, with one day off to ensure continuous service availability.
• Eight net working hours per shift, adhering to a schedule approved by the Head of Department, allowing for balanced productivity and patient care.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from a recognized university, complemented by a valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) license.
• Experience: Possess a minimum of one year of clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in emergency and general medical care.
• Technical Proficiency: Be adept at utilizing Office and Health Information Systems, ensuring seamless integration of digital tools into patient care processes.
• Language Skills: Achieve fluent proficiency in both English and Arabic, enabling effective communication with patients, colleagues, and healthcare teams in a multicultural setting.
