As a Procurement Officer based in Riyadh, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing procurement processes, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining seamless supply chain operations to support our global ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Procurement Officer at BanoPuratos, you will be responsible for executing procurement strategies that deliver the best value for money while ensuring sustainable cost reductions. Your role will encompass a range of critical functions, including:

• Strategic Support: Assist the Procurement Manager in developing and implementing strategic procurement plans to align with departmental objectives.
• Stock Analysis & Reporting: Conduct thorough stock analysis by evaluating item movements and gathering feedback from Area Sales Managers. Prepare and submit detailed reports to the Procurement Manager in a timely manner to inform decision-making.
• Procurement Coordination: Oversee the requisition process by reviewing proformas and quotations, issuing purchase orders, and managing all procurement-related documentation. Ensure accuracy in purchase orders, including item specifications, quantities, due dates, and special instructions.
• Inventory Management: Monitor current inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and prevent gaps to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
• Daily Reporting: Generate and submit daily reports on the procurement cycle to the Procurement Manager, ensuring adherence to scheduled product deliveries.
• Supplier Database Management: Maintain an up-to-date and accurate database of suppliers to facilitate efficient procurement activities.
• Shipment Coordination: Enroll upcoming shipments with necessary insurance to mitigate risks of damage or loss during transit. Verify all customs documents and formalities, and coordinate with shipping agencies to resolve discrepancies promptly and avoid demurrage or port shortage fees.
• Customer & Supplier Communication: Follow up with suppliers regarding order status, material specifications, and inquiries. Provide customers with requested documents, such as Certificates of Analysis and Technical Data Sheets, and ensure special orders are signed and recorded in the ERP system.

Candidate Profile

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in stock management or goods purchasing.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with procurement cycles, policies, and procedures.
• Analytical & Reporting Skills: Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and compile accurate reports to drive procurement cycle progress.
• Organizational & Planning Skills: Strong planning and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Interpersonal & Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Stress Management: Capacity to multitask, perform under pressure, and meet deadlines effectively.
