Our esteemed client portfolio includes numerous Saudi government entities and leading Saudi and international corporations. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Specialist to join our team on an outsourcing basis.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cloud Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and high availability. Your responsibilities will include:

• Virtualization & Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy, administer, and optimize VMware vSphere infrastructure, including vCenter, ESXi hosts, High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), and vMotion.
• Cloud Resource Management: Manage and provision Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) resources across public cloud environments while adhering to architectural best practices.
• Networking & Security: Configure and troubleshoot foundational networking components, including VLANs, TCP/IP subnets, basic routing protocols, and load balancers. Implement network security measures such as firewall access rules, VPN troubleshooting, and secure traffic isolation.
• Identity & Access Management: Administer Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), including managing forests, trusts, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs). Oversee enterprise DNS hierarchy, internal/external zone resolutions, and DHCP scopes.
• Patch & Compliance Management: Execute routine, zero-downtime patching cycles for hypervisors, cloud instances, and core infrastructure components. Lead centralized OS and application patch deployments using enterprise tools such as WSUS or SCCM, and cloud-native update managers.
• Backup, Recovery & Disaster Recovery: Design and maintain enterprise backup and replication jobs using Veeam Backup & Replication, enforcing immutable storage and the 3-2-1 backup rule. Conduct regular restoration testing, validate backup integrity, and orchestrate Disaster Recovery (DR) failover drills.

Soft Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess the following soft skills and qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency: In-depth experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft AD DS, DNS, DHCP, networking, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
