Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and qualified English Lecturer to join our esteemed faculty at Al-Ghad College of Applied Medical Sciences in Riyadh. Key Qualifications

• Educational Background: A master’s degree in English with a specialization in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, TESL, TEFL, Linguistics, or English Literature is required. Alternatively, candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in English may apply, provided they hold a CELTA certification.
• Professional Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of two years of teaching or training experience for those with a master’s degree, or five years for those with a bachelor’s degree and CELTA certification.
• Academic Excellence: A minimum grade of "Good" or higher in the applicant’s bachelor’s degree is mandatory. All qualifications must be full-time and recognized by the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia.

Core Responsibilities

The English Lecturer will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education aligned with the college’s academic standards and study plans. Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching assigned English courses in accordance with the prescribed academic curriculum and quotas.
• Developing and delivering engaging lesson plans, incorporating modern teaching methodologies and technology to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Conducting assessments, including setting and grading exams, to evaluate student progress and ensure academic integrity.
• Participating in the development and refinement of college programs, departmental policies, and academic procedures.
• Contributing to departmental councils, committees, and college activities, including scientific research initiatives and academic advising.
• Ensuring the maintenance of discipline and order in classrooms, laboratories, and other academic settings.
