Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join our team and play a pivotal role in aligning our local operations with global IT standards. This position is integral to the seamless execution of corporate IT policies, infrastructure deployment, and day-to-day technical support across our office and retail environments. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical foundation, capable of delivering high-quality IT services while adhering to established procedures and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of technical and administrative duties, including:

• Implementation of Corporate IT Standards: Assist in the deployment and enforcement of global IT policies, security controls, and corrective actions to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Infrastructure Deployment and Maintenance: Support the rollout of IT infrastructure in offices and retail locations, including site surveys, hardware racking, cable management, and system initialization to meet corporate standards.
• PC and Software Management: Perform standardized PC deployments, software installations, routine maintenance, and endpoint troubleshooting to maintain optimal system performance.
• AV and Security Systems Support: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance for audiovisual systems, access control, CCTV, IP phones, and multi-function printers to ensure operational readiness.
• Network and System Administration: Provide support for DNS and DHCP services, troubleshoot common network issues on user endpoints, and assist in the administration of Active Directory, email, NAS, virtualization, and PBX systems.
• IT Asset Management: Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including inventory maintenance, goods receipt, stocktaking, maintenance tracking, and asset retirement documentation to ensure accurate records and compliance.
• Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with headquarters’ security and network teams to execute on-site activities, liaise with local regulators, external auditors, and third-party vendors, and provide timely updates on operational status and issues.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed operational logs, technical documents, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to uphold standardized IT practices and ensure audit readiness.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Technical Proficiency: Practical experience with PC hardware, Windows OS, macOS, and common office software, including OS reinstallation and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Network Fundamentals: Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and the ability to resolve typical office network faults efficiently.
• Hands-On Skills: Capability to perform equipment installation and maintenance tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• System Awareness: Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, email systems, NAS, and virtualization platforms; prior working experience in these areas is advantageous.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong English language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing, to facilitate effective communication and technical document review in a multicultural environment.
• Work Ethic: A meticulous, proactive, and execution-oriented approach to daily IT tasks, with a commitment to following defined procedures and promptly reporting identified issues.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to prioritize support tickets, escalate unresolved issues in a timely manner, and ensure proper closure to maintain operational continuity.
