Role Overview

The Project Manager will serve as a key leader within Adeera’s Design & Technical Services (D&TS) department, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of critical projects that shape our hotel portfolio. Reporting directly to the Project & Design Director, this role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle—from initial conception to final completion—ensuring alignment with brand standards, technical specifications, quality benchmarks, and financial objectives. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic bridge between internal teams, external consultants, and project stakeholders, fostering collaboration to deliver world-class hospitality developments, renovations, and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Governance

• Lead the end-to-end management of multiple hotel projects, including new constructions, brand conversions, and renovations, across diverse brands and geographical regions.
• Spearhead cross-functional strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and brand consistency.
• Ensure all projects adhere to Adeera’s stringent technical standards, brand guidelines, and operational requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Oversee project documentation, approvals, and progress reporting to maintain transparency and accountability.
• Drive project execution from initiation to handover, ensuring timely delivery without compromising on quality or safety.

Project Planning, Execution & Quality Assurance

• Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines; continuously monitor progress and proactively address risks, deviations, or bottlenecks.
• Review and validate project documentation, including architectural drawings, technical specifications, and submittals, to ensure compliance with D&TS standards.
• Coordinate and conduct site visits and technical inspections to verify adherence to design intent, construction quality, and safety protocols.
• Lead site inspections and oversee Testing & Commissioning (T&C) processes, as well as defect snagging, to guarantee project completion meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Implement robust quality assurance measures and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project impact and sustainability.

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

• Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments, external consultants, and project stakeholders, facilitating seamless collaboration and alignment.
• Prepare and deliver detailed project updates, progress reports, and executive summaries to senior management and leadership teams.
• Engage cross-functional teams to support seamless integration and adoption of project outcomes.
• Maintain open and transparent communication channels with all stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Financial & Performance Management

• Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to financial targets.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project timelines and budgets.
• Track critical project metrics, including milestone achievements, cost performance, and design compliance, to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Lead post-project reviews to assess outcomes, identify lessons learned, and apply insights to enhance future project delivery.

Qualifications & Competencies

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a strong asset.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive project management experience, with a strong preference for roles within the hospitality, real estate, or service industries.
