Facility Management Business Partner

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facility Management Business Partner to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

As a Facility Management Business Partner, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing facility-related services to support seamless hospital operations. Your duties will encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including:

• Policy & Process Adherence: Implement and enforce facility management policies, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols to ensure consistent and controlled operations. Champion best practices and drive adherence among teams and stakeholders.
• Strategic Alignment & Planning: Collaborate with the Head of Facility Management to develop and execute annual plans for preventive maintenance, renovations, energy-saving initiatives, and infrastructure upgrades. Ensure all activities align with the hospital’s strategic objectives, patient safety goals, and Ministry of Health (MOH) requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, including clinical departments, nursing units, and administrative teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related inquiries, addressing issues proactively and fostering strong working relationships. Facilitate transparent communication regarding planned maintenance, shutdowns, renovations, or infrastructure projects to minimize operational disruptions.
• Compliance & Accreditation: Ensure full compliance with MOH building regulations, Civil Defense safety codes, and accreditation standards such as CBAHI and JCI. Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate documentation, plans, and reports. Address stakeholder requirements in alignment with infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to facility services, response times, and user satisfaction. Prepare comprehensive status reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting trends, challenges, and improvement opportunities. Recommend data-driven solutions to address recurring issues, service delays, or resource constraints.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Assist in managing outsourced service contracts for maintenance, cleaning, waste management, and pest control. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery, particularly in areas impacting clinical operations.
• Continuous Improvement & Sustainability: Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, energy efficiency, and cost savings. Promote sustainable practices and green building initiatives to reduce environmental impact while maintaining operational excellence. Participate in internal improvement projects or committees focused on facility management and support services.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications in facility management or healthcare operations are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in facility management, engineering services, or healthcare operations, with at least 3 years in a coordination, stakeholder-facing, or supervisory role. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hospital building systems, including HVAC, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), and utilities. Familiarity with healthcare facility standards, maintenance workflows, and regulatory requirements.
• Regulatory Acumen: In-depth knowledge of MOH, Civil Defense, CBAHI, and JCI accreditation requirements. Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines to facility operations.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to build trust with stakeholders, manage conflicts, and drive consensus. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and recommend actionable solutions.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing vendors, and collaborating with senior leadership to achieve organizational goals.
