Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Nahdi in Medina. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and reliability across our facilities. Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Maintenance Planning and Execution: Develop, implement, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and infrastructure.
• Technical Oversight: Conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues to uphold operational continuity.
• Budget and Resource Management: Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to manage maintenance budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to local, national, and international safety regulations, as well as company policies, to create a secure working environment for all employees and stakeholders.
• Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to procure materials, equipment, and specialized services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory levels, and prepare detailed reports for management review and audits.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, implement best practices, and drive initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. Alternatively, a relevant technical diploma with substantial experience may be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in maintenance supervision or a similar leadership role within a manufacturing, retail, or industrial environment.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of maintenance management systems (MMS), CMMS software, and proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Leadership and Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose issues, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Safety and Compliance: A thorough understanding of occupational health and safety (OHS) standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
• Certifications: Valid certifications in maintenance management, such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent, are highly desirable.

The Maintenance Supervisor will operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment at Nahdi’s facilities in Medina. The role may require occasional travel, shift work, or on-call availability to address urgent maintenance needs.
