Senior Registrar Internal Medicine ( Makkah)

Job Summary

The Senior Registrar is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, adhering to evidence-based medicine, professional ethics, and regulatory standards. They ensure high-quality treatment, compassion, and understanding for every patient at NMC Hospitals and Clinics.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides patient care within their professional competence and clinical privileges.
• Admits patients, evaluates new admissions, and coordinates patient management plans.
• Conducts daily ward rounds, documents patient management plans, and maintains accurate medical records.
• Seeks consultant advice when necessary and prepares discharge summaries, death reports, and special reports.
• Actively participates in on-call duties, outpatient services, and assists senior staff in procedures.
• Supervises junior staff, participates in educational activities, and rotates through specialized inpatient units.
• Abides by department policies, hospital by-laws, and patient education protocols.
• Performs administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the Head of the Department.
