• Performing detailed patient histories, encompassing developmental milestones, medical background, vaccination records, and family medical history.
• Utilizing advanced telehealth technology to conduct virtual physical examinations and accurately assess pediatric symptoms and conditions.
• Interpreting diagnostic tests, such as laboratory results and imaging studies, to inform clinical decision-making.
• Facilitating appointment consultations and providing instant consultations to address urgent pediatric care needs.

Treatment Planning and Implementation

Developing and executing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique requirements is a core responsibility. This involves:

• Collaborating with patients and their families to establish achievable treatment goals and incorporate their preferences into care plans.
• Prescribing medications, therapies, and lifestyle modifications in strict adherence to pediatric clinical guidelines.
• Monitoring patient responses to treatment through follow-up telehealth consultations and making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.

Clinical Quality and Safe Practice

Upholding the highest standards of clinical quality and patient safety is paramount. The Registrar will:

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized medical institution.
• Completion of a residency program in Pediatrics from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Pediatrics or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid classification and registration as a Registrar in Pediatrics with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Proficiency in telehealth technologies and digital health platforms to deliver remote pediatric care effectively.
• Strong diagnostic acumen and familiarity with clinical assessment tools to evaluate pediatric conditions accurately.
• Expertise in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) and telemedicine systems to streamline workflows and enhance patient care.
• Exceptional clinical judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex pediatric cases.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.

Education

Candidates must hold a degree in Medicine and Surgery from an accredited institution.
