Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive strategic plans that align with the company’s vision and long-term goals. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, assess market trends, and formulate actionable strategies to drive sustainable business development.
• Governance and Compliance: Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices. Oversee the development and implementation of governance policies, procedures, and frameworks to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the executive leadership team, board members, and external stakeholders to facilitate transparent communication and alignment on strategic initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to foster collaboration and drive collective success.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Risk Management and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate their impact on the organization. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations while promoting a culture of risk awareness and accountability.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of innovation by exploring emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies to enhance strategic decision-making. Recommend process improvements to optimize governance structures and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
• Professional Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in strategy development, corporate governance, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership or advisory role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in strategic planning tools, governance frameworks, and data analysis software. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management principles.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to influence stakeholders, drive consensus, and present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
