Key Responsibilities

The Senior System Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

• System Analysis & Design: Conduct thorough analysis of existing and proposed systems to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Design scalable, secure, and high-performance IT solutions that align with business objectives.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, end-users, and IT teams, to elicit, document, and validate system requirements. Ensure that proposed solutions meet functional and non-functional needs.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and IT professionals. Lead system integration projects, ensuring seamless interoperability between disparate systems and platforms.
• Solution Implementation: Oversee the implementation of new systems or enhancements, working with development teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to best practices. Conduct rigorous testing to validate system functionality and performance.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify potential risks associated with system changes or new implementations. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architectures, processes, and workflows. Prepare detailed reports on system performance, issues, and recommendations for stakeholders and senior management.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external vendors, third-party providers, and internal teams to ensure the successful procurement, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems. Manage vendor relationships to optimize service delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, or PMP) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in system analysis, design, and implementation, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role. Experience in [industry-specific domain, if applicable] is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in system modeling tools (e.g., UML, BPMN), programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL), and enterprise architecture frameworks. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices is advantageous.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex systems, identify root causes of issues, and develop innovative solutions. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills are essential.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Systems Analyst (CSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar are preferred.
