Dental Specialist (Oral and Maxillofacial surgery)

Position Overview

MH is seeking highly skilled and dedicated Dental Specialists specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to join our esteemed team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dental care within your subspecialty, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of treatment to enhance their oral health and maintain optimal dental hygiene. Your expertise will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes and fostering long-term dental wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and surgical procedures within the scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to address a wide range of dental and maxillofacial conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs, ensuring the highest quality of care and optimal clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of dental professionals, including general dentists, hygienists, and specialists, to provide integrated and cohesive patient care.
• Educate patients on post-operative care, oral hygiene practices, and preventive measures to promote long-term dental health and minimize the risk of complications.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including surgical notes, treatment plans, and follow-up documentation, in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through continuous professional development, attending conferences, workshops, and engaging in ongoing education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a sterile and secure environment for all surgical procedures and patient interactions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hold a Board or Master’s Degree in Dental Medicine with a specialization in Oral Surgery or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, demonstrating proficiency in surgical techniques and patient management.
• Possess a valid and current dental license issued by the relevant regulatory authority in the country of origin, ensuring compliance with local and national dental practice standards.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex medical information to patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Demonstrate strong presentation skills, capable of delivering informative and engaging educational sessions to patients, staff, or during professional forums.
