Information Technology Engineer - Cybersecurity Focus

We seek a skilled Information Technology Engineer with a strong background in Cybersecurity to oversee and safeguard our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Maintaining servers, networks, firewalls, and endpoint security
• Managing Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
• Overseeing backup systems and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity best practices
• Monitoring security events and responding to incidents
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and implementing security controls
• Providing technical support to end users

Candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and technical support
• Proven expertise in Windows Server and Active Directory
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
• A solid understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network troubleshooting
• Experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, firewalls, endpoint protection, and backup solutions
• Familiarity with switches, routers, and wireless networking
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, Microsoft Certified, CompTIA Network+, or Security+ are highly desirable.
