Key Responsibilities

In this senior position, you will be entrusted with a diverse portfolio of responsibilities that reflect both the technical and leadership dimensions of the role. Your primary duties will include:

• Project Leadership: Lead the structural engineering aspects of multiple high-profile projects, ensuring adherence to international standards, local regulations, and client specifications. Your leadership will guide junior engineers and collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve seamless project execution.
• Design and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive structural analysis and design using advanced software tools such as ETABS, SAP2000, and AutoCAD. Your responsibilities will encompass the development of detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications that meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Technical Oversight: Provide expert technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design and feasibility studies to construction documentation and site supervision. Your insights will ensure that structural solutions are both innovative and practical, balancing cost-effectiveness with long-term durability.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance and control processes to guarantee that all structural components comply with applicable codes and standards, including ACI, AISC, Eurocodes, and local Saudi Building Code (SBC) requirements. • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative work environment by mentoring junior engineers, reviewing their work, and providing constructive feedback. Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a strong academic background, extensive professional experience, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, or equivalent) are highly desirable and will be considered an asset.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role. Your track record should demonstrate a proven ability to manage complex projects, lead teams, and deliver results in high-pressure environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Profound expertise in structural analysis and design software, including ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and Revit Structure. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodologies and sustainable design principles is a plus.
• Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred. Membership in recognized professional bodies, such as the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) or the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), is an added advantage.
