Key Responsibilities

The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for leading and overseeing critical aspects of structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations. Your core duties will include:

• Project Leadership: Spearhead the structural design and analysis of complex projects, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced engineering software and methodologies to develop robust structural solutions, including load calculations, material selection, and foundation design.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural components seamlessly into overall project plans, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all structural designs and modifications comply with relevant codes, such as ACI, AISC, Eurocodes, and local Saudi building regulations, while maintaining a focus on sustainability and resilience.
• Mentorship and Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns, fostering their professional growth through training, feedback, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Risk Assessment and Problem-Solving: Conduct thorough risk assessments and propose innovative solutions to structural challenges, minimizing potential hazards and optimizing project outcomes.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and specifications, ensuring clarity and accuracy for construction teams and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) considered a strong advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record in designing and managing large-scale projects, preferably in the Middle East or similar environments.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit) and a deep understanding of structural dynamics, seismic design, and finite element analysis.
• Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: Valid professional engineering license (e.g., PEng, PE) or equivalent, along with a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
