Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• QSHE Compliance Oversight: Monitor and enforce adherence to regional and international QSHE regulations, policies, and procedures within the Sales department to mitigate risks and ensure operational integrity.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver comprehensive QSHE training programs for sales teams, distributors, and stakeholders to promote a proactive safety culture and enhance compliance awareness.
• Incident Management: Investigate and analyze QSHE-related incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances, recommending corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence and improve performance.
• Audit and Inspection Support: Coordinate and participate in internal and external QSHE audits, inspections, and assessments, ensuring timely resolution of findings and implementation of corrective measures.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Champion Almarai’s sustainability goals by integrating environmental best practices into sales operations, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and resource conservation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the Sales team, regional management, and corporate QSHE departments to align strategies, share best practices, and address compliance challenges.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare and present QSHE performance reports, metrics, and dashboards to senior leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Regulatory Updates: Stay abreast of evolving QSHE regulations, industry standards, and emerging risks, advising the organization on necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 45001, or ISO 14001 are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in QSHE management, preferably within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or food industry, with a focus on sales or commercial operations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in QSHE management systems, risk assessment tools, and incident reporting software. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools is essential.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities to influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset are critical.
• Regional Expertise: In-depth knowledge of regional QSHE regulations, labor laws, and industry standards in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
