Role Overview

The Technical Trainer plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all training requirements for Saudi male employees are fulfilled in alignment with business objectives and corporate training standards. This position is responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs tailored to the needs of the manufacturing and engineering sectors. The Technical Trainer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify skill gaps, implement effective training solutions, and support the continuous professional development of employees. By fostering a culture of learning and excellence, the Technical Trainer will contribute to the enhancement of operational efficiency, safety, and productivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Program Development: Design and develop comprehensive training programs, including instructional materials, manuals, and e-learning modules, to address the technical and operational needs of employees in the manufacturing and engineering domains.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for Saudi male employees, utilizing a variety of instructional methods such as classroom-based training, on-the-job training, workshops, and virtual learning platforms.
  • Needs Assessment: Perform training needs analyses to identify skill deficiencies and recommend appropriate training interventions to bridge performance gaps and support business objectives.
  • SAP and System Training: Provide hands-on training and support for employees in the use of SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, ensuring proficiency in system functionalities and best practices.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms, assessments, and performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with department heads, supervisors, and human resources to align training initiatives with organizational goals and ensure seamless integration of training programs into daily operations.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and certifications, ensuring compliance with corporate training policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronic Communications.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant training experience within a large-scale manufacturing environment, with a proven track record as a trainer.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Proven experience in the planning, design, delivery, and development of training activities, with a focus on practical, hands-on learning experiences.
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, including the ability to develop and deliver system-related training programs.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster a positive learning environment among employees at all levels.
