Tamheer Program: Prudential Supervision Associate

The Tamheer Program offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the prudential supervision of motor and P&C monoline insurers. As a Prudential Supervision Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the solvency and financial stability of these entities.

• Execute routine solvency ratio calculations and capital-adequacy checks, maintaining data integrity and promptly escalating material variances.
• Maintain risk dashboards by extracting, validating, and updating quarterly financial, premium, and claims development figures in the supervision analytics platform.
• Support the preparation of early-warning indicators through stress-testing templates and summarizing key findings for supervisory review memoranda.
• Collect and verify statutory returns, audited financial statements, and actuarial opinions, following up promptly on incomplete or late submissions.
• Upload validated reports into the Authority’s e-Supervision system, tagging documents for accurate retrieval and peer benchmarking.
• Prepare first-draft variance analyses and data tables for the annual Solvency and Financial Condition Report review cycle.
• Assist lead inspectors during targeted on-site reviews by organizing working papers, logging evidence requests, and tracking outstanding information items until closure.
• Participate in off-site thematic reviews by compiling comparative statistics and drafting sections of the supervisory letter under close guidance from the Expert of Prudential Supervision.
• Maintain a complete, auditable record of correspondence, supervisory actions, and licensee commitments in SharePoint and the case-management system, ensuring reference to relevant IA resolutions.
• Draft routine notices, no-objection letters, and follow-up emails using approved templates and secure manager sign-off before issuance to supervised entities.
• Liaise with the Finance & Actuarial Analytics Division to reconcile data feeds and resolve coding discrepancies that impact solvency monitoring outputs.
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics for Prudential Review Committee meetings, circulating agenda packs and capturing minutes that reflect decisions and agreed timelines.
• Contribute to process-improvement initiatives by documenting pain points encountered in data collection and proposing automation ideas to the Digital Transformation team.
