Key Responsibilities

The Construction Manager will play a critical role in driving the success of construction projects by performing the following duties and responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Lead the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects from inception to handover, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational objectives.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, contractors, and laborers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effective project delivery without compromising quality.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce rigorous safety standards and ensure full compliance with local, regional, and international construction regulations, including occupational health and safety (OHS) protocols.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, maintaining transparent and proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control processes to guarantee that all construction activities meet or exceed industry standards and client specifications.

Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CMAA) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction management, with a focus on large-scale projects in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure sectors.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6, AutoCAD, MS Project) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and inspire high levels of performance among project stakeholders.
