Key Responsibilities

The Mechanic Technician will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and functionality of our mechanical assets. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Conduct routine preventive maintenance and execute corrective repairs to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan.
• Equipment Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs on specialized equipment, including Demag, Liebherr, Sany, and Kobelco cranes, as well as SPMT trailers, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
• Diagnostic and Repair Operations: Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques to identify root causes of mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to restore equipment functionality.
• Component Replacement and Upgrades: Replace or upgrade defective mechanical components and parts to maintain peak performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Comprehensive Inspections and Testing: Perform detailed inspections and functional testing to validate equipment reliability, safety, and operational readiness.
• Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel and assets.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation for compliance and operational transparency.
• Operational Support: Collaborate closely with operational teams to proactively address equipment issues, reduce downtime, and enhance overall productivity.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Background: A Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is essential.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Mechanic Technician or in a comparable maintenance role, with hands-on expertise in mechanical systems and equipment.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, diagnostic tools, and repair methodologies, with familiarity in handling specialized equipment such as cranes and SPMT trailers.
• Technical Documentation: Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to guide maintenance and repair activities.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
