Planning & Scheduling Engineer

Job Purpose

Drive project success through meticulous planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring. This role involves critical activity analysis, productivity assessment, and ensuring adherence to approved plans and schedules.

Key Accountabilities

• Analyze man-hours and propose effective solutions for critical activities.
• Monitor and update project schedules using Primavera and Microsoft Project, conducting progress shortfall analysis and preparing reports for management action.
• Plan projects at micro levels, track, update, and reschedule activities weekly, and review work forecasts for remaining activities.
• Lead construction team progress meetings, monitor master schedules, and ensure accurate progress reports.
• Review and update planning and scheduling documentation, identify critical activities, and analyze critical paths.
• Prepare work procedures and method statements, control documents, and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Safety

Uphold workplace (WPS) and process (PSM) safety by adhering to IOWs, Safe Operating Procedures, and Safe Work Instructions. Comply with SASREF HSE Policy, 5 Safety Principles, and 8 Life Saving Rules.

Performance Indicators

• Zero personal or third-party injuries.
• No WPS or PSM incidents caused.
• 100% completion of assigned cybersecurity awareness courses.
• Zero cybersecurity violations or negative behavior.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
