Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Lead for Instruments/NSE in the Central Region of KSA to spearhead the sales and business development of our advanced medical technology portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for cultivating and sustaining strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring operational excellence to meet and exceed regional targets. Your strategic approach, market insights, and commitment to customer satisfaction will be instrumental in positioning Stryker as a leader in healthcare innovation across the region.

Key Responsibilities

As a Territory Lead, your core responsibilities will encompass a wide range of sales, operational, and customer-centric activities, including:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish, nurture, and maintain enduring relationships with existing and prospective customers within your designated territory, ensuring continuity and alignment with business objectives.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, product advancements, and regulatory developments within your region. Compile and present comprehensive reports to senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Sales Execution & Target Achievement: Drive sales activities in accordance with regional targets, aligning them with the company’s overarching strategies. Prepare detailed sales reports as required by management to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Customer Engagement & Demonstrations: Plan, execute, and report on customer and partner visits, as well as product demonstrations, tailored to meet sales targets and address customer demands effectively.
  • Proposal Evaluation & Material Preparation: Assess Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from customers and partners, curating comprehensive material lists that align with their specific needs and requirements.
  • Procurement Support & Project Coordination: Educate customers on purchasing methodologies, including tender processes, intermediate purchases, leasing, and external procurement. Collaborate closely with the tender department to facilitate project completion, ensuring timely reporting and execution.
  • Logistics & Delivery Management: Oversee material delivery schedules within your territory, keeping customers informed of timelines. Facilitate the delivery and installation of products, provide post-sales user training, and participate in surgical cases to ensure seamless integration and customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Oversight & Collections: Ensure customer invoices are processed for accrual and follow up with the Finance and Accounting department to guarantee timely collections in adherence to due dates.
  • Quality & Feedback Management: Act as a liaison between customers and the Quality Management Representative, addressing and resolving feedback or complaints. Evaluate and implement corrective actions within your territory, reporting outcomes to stakeholders and customers as necessary.
  • Marketing & Scientific Support: Communicate scientific support requests and strategic plans to the marketing department, contributing to the development and execution of region-specific initiatives. Provide support to the logistics team as needed to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Competencies

To excel in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and personal attributes to the table:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Medicine, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in sales, business development, or a closely related discipline within the medical technology or healthcare sector.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives, leveraging strong communication and diplomacy skills.
    • Demonstrated analytical prowess, with the capacity to evaluate situations using multiple sources of information to inform strategic decisions.
    • Unwavering integrity and a commitment to fulfilling commitments in a timely and professional manner.
    • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with a strong grasp of industry-specific terminology.
    • Advanced competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • A valid KSA driving license, enabling mobility and accessibility within your assigned territory.
