Technical Support Engineer/L4

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Technical Support Engineer (Level 4) to join our post-sales support team. This role is critical in delivering exceptional technical assistance to our clients, ensuring seamless resolution of complex issues through repairs, on-site interventions, or remote troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise, analytical prowess, and the ability to lead initiatives while adhering to established policies and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Support Engineer/L4 will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Technical Problem Resolution: Provide advanced technical support to resolve post-sales issues, spanning levels 1, 2, and 3. This includes diagnosing and addressing complex technical challenges, ensuring alignment with quality, volume, and deadline standards.
• Process Optimization: Evaluate and refine existing procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring outcomes meet or exceed acceptability benchmarks. This role is authorized to propose and implement changes where necessary.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of support professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages skill development and consensus-building among team members.
• Strategic Decision-Making: Utilize deep technical knowledge and analytical skills to propose innovative solutions for intricate manufacturing processes or interdependent production cycles. Leverage internal and external resources judiciously to inform decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to less experienced colleagues and collaborating with other departments to align technical strategies with broader organizational goals.
• Project Management: Lead small-scale projects with minimal risk and resource requirements, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to performance expectations.

Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education:
  • For roles outside the U.S.: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience in digital audio workstations.
  • For roles in the U.S.: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or a high school diploma/GED with at least four years of relevant experience.
• Technical Expertise: Profound understanding of digital audio workstations and related technologies, along with a competitive market awareness to differentiate our offerings.
• Leadership and Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities to influence and lead teams effectively.
• Analytical and Organizational Skills: Proven capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, identify issues proactively, and implement data-driven solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to navigate complex technical challenges and propose actionable resolutions within defined parameters or beyond, where necessary.
