Key Responsibilities

As a Chef/Culinary Instructor at Cozymeal, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging culinary lesson plans tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners. Ensure that each session is both educational and enjoyable.
• Hands-On Instruction: Lead interactive cooking classes, workshops, and demonstrations, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback to participants. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to experiment and grow.
• Culinary Expertise: Demonstrate professional cooking techniques, knife skills, and plating methods. Share industry insights, trends, and best practices to enhance students' understanding of the culinary arts.
• Student Engagement: Assess individual progress, identify areas for improvement, and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Build strong relationships with students to inspire confidence and creativity in the kitchen.
• Facility Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Ensure all equipment and ingredients are properly stocked and utilized, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Community Building: Collaborate with Cozymeal’s marketing and operations teams to promote culinary events, classes, and workshops. Engage with the local community to expand our reach and foster a vibrant culinary culture in Hafar Al-Batin.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Education and Experience: A degree or certification in culinary arts, hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of professional cooking experience, with at least 1 year in a teaching or mentoring capacity.
• Culinary Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food presentation. Ability to create and execute well-balanced, flavorful dishes.
• Teaching Aptitude: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for educating and motivating others. Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and student assessment is a plus.
• Adaptability: Ability to tailor lessons to different skill levels and learning styles. Flexibility to accommodate diverse dietary preferences and restrictions.
