In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Cloud Architecture: Design and develop scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures tailored to meet the evolving needs of our clients and internal operations. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards.
• Solution Planning and Implementation: Lead the planning, deployment, and optimization of cloud infrastructure, including public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into actionable cloud strategies.
• Cost Optimization and Resource Management: Analyze and optimize cloud resource allocation to maximize performance while minimizing costs. Implement governance frameworks to ensure efficient use of cloud services.
• Migration and Modernization: Oversee cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transitions for existing systems. Drive digital transformation initiatives by modernizing legacy infrastructure.
• Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with global and regional regulations. Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for cloud environments.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, development teams, and IT leadership to understand business needs and deliver tailored cloud solutions. Act as a technical advisor, bridging the gap between business goals and technical execution.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluate new cloud technologies, and recommend innovations to enhance our infrastructure capabilities. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

What we look for in a candidate:

• A proven track record of 7+ years in cloud infrastructure planning, architecture, or a related field, with hands-on experience in designing and managing cloud environments.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including experience with IaaS, PaaS, and serverless architectures.
• Strong knowledge of networking, storage, virtualization, and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud security frameworks, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues with a proactive mindset.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business-friendly insights for stakeholders.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are a significant advantage.
• Fluency in English is required, with additional proficiency in Arabic being a strong asset.
