As an ER Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive, evidence-based medical care to patients presenting with acute and life-threatening conditions. Your expertise will be instrumental in diagnosing complex medical issues, designing and executing personalized treatment plans, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

In this demanding yet highly fulfilling role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Comprehensive Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with acute medical emergencies, meticulously documenting findings to guide clinical decision-making and ensure continuity of care.
• Patient-Centered Care Planning: Design and execute individualized plans of care tailored to each patient’s unique medical needs, ensuring alignment with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
• Patient Education and Empowerment: Provide clear, concise, and culturally sensitive education to patients and their families regarding their health conditions, diagnostic investigations, treatment options, and medication management. Foster proactive health promotion and disease prevention strategies to enhance long-term well-being.
• Diagnostic and Therapeutic Leadership: Order and interpret diagnostic investigations, prescribe appropriate medications, and implement interventions based on clinical expertise and specialty privileges. Ensure timely follow-up on test results to optimize patient outcomes.
• Specialized Clinical Expertise: Perform additional duties aligned with your specialty, including vaccination administration when applicable, and make informed referrals to specialized clinics as needed to facilitate comprehensive care.
• Adaptability and Business Alignment: Remain open to additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support organizational objectives and operational needs.

Work Environment and Schedule:

This role operates within an indoor-focused clinical setting, ensuring a structured yet dynamic work environment. You will be expected to work:

• 6 working days per week, with 1 day off to promote work-life balance.
• 8 net working hours per shift, adhering to a schedule approved by the Head of Department to ensure seamless coverage and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from a recognized university, complemented by a valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) license to practice in Saudi Arabia.
• Clinical Experience: Demonstrate 5 years of post-graduation clinical experience, with a strong foundation in emergency medicine or a related specialty. Experience in occupational health is highly valued, along with a relevant training certificate.
• Certifications: Possess valid Resuscitation training certificates, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) to ensure readiness for critical interventions.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Office and Health Information Systems to efficiently manage patient records, electronic health records, and administrative tasks.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Arabic, including strong speaking and writing abilities, to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.
