Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Operations Executive will play a critical role in shaping the future of our healthcare services by overseeing a wide range of operational activities. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership and Planning: Develop and implement long-term operational strategies that drive service improvement, innovation, and expansion. Collaborate with senior management to align clinical operations with the hospital’s mission and vision.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day clinical operations to ensure efficient service delivery, adherence to policies, and alignment with KFSHRC (King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre) objectives. Monitor and enhance operational workflows to maximize productivity and performance.
• Quality Assurance and Patient Safety: Establish and enforce rigorous quality assurance programs to maintain the highest standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction. Regularly assess clinical outcomes and operational efficiency through key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Collect, analyze, and interpret operational and clinical data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
• Resource Management: Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control measures to optimize the use of financial and operational resources. Ensure that all expenditures are aligned with the hospital’s financial goals and regulatory compliance.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing expert guidance on clinical operations and strategic initiatives. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on operational progress, findings, and issues to stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and regulatory bodies.
• Policy and Procedure Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among the clinical operations team.
• Team Development and Collaboration: Foster a collaborative work environment by participating in and supporting the education, training, and professional growth of yourself and others. Encourage innovation and best practices across all clinical operations functions.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: A Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications in healthcare management or operations are highly desirable.
• Experience: A minimum of eleven (11) years of progressive experience in clinical operations, healthcare management, or a related field is essential. Prior leadership experience in a hospital or large healthcare setting is preferred.
• Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities. Proficiency in data analysis tools and healthcare information systems. A deep understanding of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and operational best practices.
