Hotel Finance Manager (Saudi National Only)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Finance Manager to oversee all financial operations of our prestigious hotel. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, maintaining strict compliance with local regulations, and driving strategic financial initiatives to support the hotel’s operational and business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality finance, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a commitment to excellence in financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership: Lead all accounting and finance functions within the hotel, providing strategic direction to enhance financial performance and sustainability.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring transparency and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and manage the hotel’s annual budget and long-term financial forecasts, aligning financial plans with operational goals.
• Cash Flow & Profitability Management: Oversee cash flow operations, analyze profitability trends, and implement cost-control measures to optimize financial performance.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to VAT, tax, and regulatory requirements while maintaining robust internal financial controls.
• Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and lead the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and operational efficiency.
• Policy & Procedure Implementation: Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures to safeguard assets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education & Certification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, SOCPA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel finance and financial management within the hospitality industry.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in hotel accounting systems, financial reporting, budgeting, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Analytical & Leadership Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, strategic thinking, and the capacity to lead and inspire a finance team while collaborating effectively with cross-functional departments.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of VAT, tax regulations, and local financial compliance requirements.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
