Key Responsibilities

As the Risk Specialist, your role will encompass a broad spectrum of strategic and operational duties designed to elevate IT governance and compliance standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and Implement IT Governance Frameworks: Design and deploy comprehensive IT governance frameworks that align with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, ensuring a structured approach to risk management and compliance.
• Policy and Procedure Development: Review, update, and refine IT policies, procedures, and governance documentation to reflect evolving business needs, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices.
• KPI Development and Performance Monitoring: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) tailored to IT governance and digital transformation initiatives, monitor performance metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze performance indicators, generate insightful reports, and create interactive dashboards to provide executive leadership with actionable intelligence for strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Risk Mitigation and Compliance Assurance: Support IT risk management activities, conduct compliance audits, and ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies, governance standards, and organizational procedures.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams, including IT leadership, business units, and external partners, to align governance recommendations with broader organizational objectives and drive adoption of best practices.
• Reporting and Research: Prepare governance reports, research papers, and professional presentations that communicate complex findings to diverse audiences, including senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Recommend and implement corrective actions and process enhancements to strengthen organizational resilience, operational efficiency, and compliance posture.
• Cybersecurity and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure alignment with cybersecurity frameworks, organizational procedures, and regulatory mandates, including those from the Digital Government Authority (DGA) and other relevant Saudi authorities.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, analytical rigor, and strategic vision. We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications are a significant advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in IT Governance, Compliance, or Performance Management, with a focus on digital transformation initiatives. Familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, or ITIL is highly beneficial.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong background in KPI development, performance measurement, and data analysis. Proficiency in using analytical tools, reporting software, and governance platforms.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate collaboration across multicultural teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Keen eye for detail, coupled with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively within a team environment, fostering partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will further enhance your candidacy:

• Experience with the Digital Government Authority (DGA) or Saudi regulatory frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of IT Governance Controls and Digital Transformation frameworks.
• Specialized experience in IT Risk Management and Compliance, including audit and assessment methodologies.
• Professional certifications in Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC), or IT Service Management (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001, CISA, or PMP).
