Trade Marketing & Distribution Representative

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trade Marketing & Distribution Representative to execute our operational strategy across assigned territories in Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal in driving trade marketing initiatives, optimizing distribution channels, and enhancing brand visibility to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with regional sales managers, distributors, and trade partners to maximize business opportunities while ensuring adherence to best practices and budgetary constraints. Key Responsibilities

• Territory Evaluation & Opportunity Maximization: Continuously assess assigned territories to identify and capitalize on business opportunities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Cycle Plan Implementation: Execute all cycle plan activities with precision to meet trade marketing and distribution targets.
• Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and timely reporting on trade marketing activities, including:
  • Area Summary File
  • Trade Marketing Unit (TMU) metrics
  • Reconciliation of rental, retail execution plan (REP), and brand activation (BA) activities
  • Competitor analysis
  • Qualitative and quantitative surveys
• Trade Relationship Management: Foster strong partnerships with trade partners to secure their active support in maximizing volume and in-store brand presence within agreed budgets.
• Trade Incentive Schemes: Implement and provide feedback on trade incentive programs as outlined in the operational plan to drive engagement and performance.
• Brand Visibility & Merchandising: Maximize in-store visibility for ALFAKHER brands through trade marketing and distribution (TM&D) tools, ensuring compliance with planograms and maintaining clean, functional merchandising units.
• Collaboration with Distributors: Work closely with distributor sales teams to enhance distribution opportunities, minimize out-of-stock (OOS) situations, and ensure product availability and freshness.
• KPI Achievement: Meet and exceed TM&D KPIs as set by the organization, ensuring continuous improvement in performance metrics.
• Resource Optimization: Secure and utilize trade marketing resources efficiently and effectively to drive maximum return on investment.
• Stock Integrity & Reconciliation: Maintain the integrity of Trade Marketing Representative (TMR) stock floats and ensure accurate reconciliation to prevent discrepancies.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Education & Experience: Preference will be given to bilingual (English and another language) graduates with 0-2 years of experience in merchandising or trade marketing within an FMCG company, particularly one with a structured trade marketing approach.
• Interpersonal & Influencing Skills: Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive collaborative outcomes.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
• Organizational & Time Management: Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Mobility & Licensing: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territories to execute responsibilities.
