• Conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses to assess project viability, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend strategic solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical specifications into actionable cost estimates, working closely with engineers, architects, and procurement specialists.
• Leverage industry-leading software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or specialized estimation software) to model project timelines, resource requirements, and budgetary constraints.
• Prepare and present cost reports to stakeholders, providing clear insights into project economics, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to ensure estimates remain competitive and compliant with local and international standards.
• Support bid preparation by compiling competitive pricing strategies, tender documentation, and proposal submissions for potential clients.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven expertise in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and project budgeting, with a strong track record of delivering accurate and defensible estimates.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabia’s construction industry, local regulations, and market practices is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in estimation software, including but not limited to: Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or specialized tools like CostX, ProEst, or PlanSwift.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex cost data to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications in cost engineering (e.g., CEA, CCE) are a plus.
