The Opportunity

EY’s Strategy & Transactions (SaT) practice is seeking a highly skilled Valuations Executive to support our Middle East and North Africa (MENA) based Oil and Gas clients. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in addressing their strategic planning, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and fair market value documentation needs. Your Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Provide expert contributions to valuation and business modeling projects for clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with industry standards.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with large Oil and Gas clients to gain deep insights into their businesses, markets, and challenges. Conduct thorough research and analysis of industry trends and comparable companies within the sector.
• Valuation & Analysis: Perform comprehensive valuation calculations and analyses, including M&A transactions, Purchase Price Allocations (PPA), and Fair Value Assessments.
• Reporting & Presentation: Draft detailed presentations and reports to articulate valuation conclusions. Present findings to internal teams and clients, demonstrating clarity and strategic insight.
• Stakeholder Communication: Address client queries promptly and professionally, and participate in internal and external meetings to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business.
• Minimum of 3 years of valuation experience, with a focus on Oil and Gas/Energy clients.
• Proven expertise in valuation projects, including M&A, Purchase Price Allocations, and Fair Valuations.
• Strong financial modeling skills, with the ability to build, review, and validate models for Energy sector businesses.
• Professional hunger for growth and development, ideally with prior experience in a Big 4 firm or professional services environment.
• Progress toward or completion of a CFA, CA, or other relevant professional qualification is a plus.
