As a Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products achieve maximum on-shelf presence and visibility in retail outlets, contributing to our continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for executing merchandising activities that enhance product availability, compliance, and consumer engagement. Your primary duties will include:

• Maximizing On-Shelf Presence: Ensure that PepsiCo products are strategically placed in all assigned retail outlets, including shelf, stand, and floor displays, in strict adherence to approved planograms. This includes maintaining clean, fresh stock and rotating products using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to prevent stockouts or product deterioration.
• Planogram Compliance: Monitor and enforce planogram compliance for both on-shelf and off-shelf displays. Report any deviations from agreed terms with customers or outlets immediately to the pre-seller for corrective action.
• POS Material Management: Place and maintain Point-of-Sale (POS) materials, such as banners, shelf talkers, and displays, to enhance product visibility and drive consumer engagement.
• Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and report competitive activities within assigned retail outlets to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats to PepsiCo’s market position.
• In-Store Sampling and Promotions: Conduct in-store sampling sessions and participate in promotional campaigns when required, ensuring that these activities align with PepsiCo’s brand standards and objectives.
• Market Information Reporting: Provide the pre-seller with timely and accurate market information to capitalize on selling opportunities and address any challenges in the retail environment.
• Daily Journey Management: Follow a daily journey plan provided by your supervisor, calling on specific outlets to execute merchandising tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional appearance and behavior in line with PepsiCo’s code of conduct, representing the company with integrity and commitment.

Key Performance Measures

Your success in this role will be evaluated based on the following key performance indicators:

• Execution Standard: Consistently achieve high standards in merchandising execution, including planogram compliance, product rotation, and POS material placement.
• LTA Enforcement: Ensure compliance with Local Trade Agreements (LTA) and promptly report any deviations to the pre-seller.
• Journey Plan Adherence: Follow the daily journey plan with precision, ensuring all assigned outlets are visited and merchandising tasks are completed on schedule.
