Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage to support the Outlet Manager in overseeing the successful operation of our assigned outlet as an independent profit center. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the outlet adheres to its established operating concept while maintaining the highest standards of Hyatt International. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction while meticulously managing financial performance within budgetary constraints. This position is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for operational excellence and a commitment to driving financial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Assist the Outlet Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery, adherence to brand standards, and compliance with Hyatt International guidelines.
• Guest Experience Management: Champion a culture of guest-centric service by monitoring service standards, addressing guest feedback, and implementing initiatives to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
• Financial Stewardship: Collaborate with the Outlet Manager to develop and execute strategies that optimize revenue, control costs, and maximize profitability while operating within allocated budgets.
• Team Development: Mentor and lead the outlet’s team, fostering a high-performance culture through training, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as Hyatt’s operational policies and procedures to maintain compliance and uphold brand integrity.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the outlet’s long-term success by participating in strategic planning, market analysis, and the implementation of innovative initiatives to drive growth and competitiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A relevant degree, apprenticeship, or diploma in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of progressive experience in a supervisory or leadership role, such as Assistant Outlet Manager, Team Leader, or Captain, within a hotel or large restaurant environment with a reputation for high standards.
• Proven ability to manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
• Familiarity with Hyatt International standards and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
