Key Responsibilities

The Senior Civil Engineer will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Project Leadership: Lead and oversee civil engineering projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Technical Expertise: Provide specialized technical guidance in areas such as structural design, geotechnical analysis, transportation systems, and infrastructure development, utilizing advanced engineering software and methodologies.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and project managers, to align engineering solutions with project objectives and stakeholder requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all engineering designs and construction activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations, mitigating risks and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Innovation and Optimization: Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness in project delivery.
• Mentorship and Development: Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role. Experience in the oil, gas, or energy sector is a strong advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of structural analysis, soil mechanics, and construction methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities. Demonstrated leadership in driving teams toward successful project outcomes.
• Certifications: Valid professional engineering license or equivalent certification is required.
