Role Overview

As a Fintech Associate at Hungerstation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s fintech strategy. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive innovation in lending, cards, wallets, and strategic financial solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and success of our fintech initiatives, ensuring they align with our mission of delivering unparalleled customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Fintech Strategy and Partnerships

• Spearhead the identification, evaluation, and onboarding of fintech partners across lending, cards, wallets, and other financial solutions, ensuring alignment with Hungerstation’s strategic objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive market and competitor benchmarking to inform new fintech initiatives and partnership decisions, providing actionable insights to drive competitive advantage.
• Develop robust business cases, partner evaluations, and internal recommendation decks to support strategic decision-making and secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with fintech partners, overseeing performance tracking, issue resolution, and ongoing coordination to ensure seamless collaboration.

Product Development and Performance Tracking

• Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Marketing teams to define customer value propositions, conduct competitive analyses, and assess go-to-market readiness for fintech initiatives.
• Monitor and report on the performance of assigned fintech products using key metrics such as adoption rates, utilization levels, portfolio size, and growth trajectories.
• Identify performance gaps and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement improvement initiatives, driving continuous optimization and innovation.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Compliance

• Stay abreast of fintech-related developments, licenses, and industry best practices to ensure Hungerstation’s initiatives remain compliant and competitive.
• Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for fintech partner-related initiatives, ensuring alignment, follow-ups, and timely execution across all stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Product, Technology, Legal, Marketing, Finance, and Sales to support fintech initiatives, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
• Assist in maintaining accurate documentation and compliance-related reporting, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Daily Operations and Execution

• Manage day-to-day coordination activities related to fintech initiatives, including partner relationship management, marketing campaigns, commercial negotiations, and internal action tracking.
• Maintain meticulous product and initiative tracking for assigned fintech products and partnerships, with a focus on driving impactful learnings, measurable outcomes, and sustainable growth.
• Proactively track open issues, risks, and dependencies across fintech initiatives, ensuring timely responses and coordination to mitigate challenges and support smooth execution.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in fintech and financial services, with a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and partnerships.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
