Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our healthcare clinic network in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a 12-month contract position, offering an immediate start for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have a clinical or nursing background with hands-on experience in inventory management, ensuring seamless procurement, distribution, and compliance of medical and non-medical supplies. This role is perfect for professionals with 2–4 years of experience in hospital or clinic settings who are eager to advance their career in healthcare supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our clinics by performing the following duties:
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and organize incoming medical and non-medical supplies while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stock Optimization: Monitor inventory levels, including reorder points and safety stock, to prevent shortages and ensure uninterrupted clinical services.
- Supply Distribution: Issue supplies to clinical teams in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and proper documentation to maintain accountability.
- Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to process procurement requests efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure correct storage, labeling, and adherence to regulatory and quality requirements for all supplies.
- Data Management & Reporting: Utilize ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic formulas) to update inventory records, generate reports, and support month-end reconciliations.
- Cycle Counts & Audits: Assist in conducting cycle counts, physical inventories, and investigating discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of inventory processes and documentation to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in hospital or clinic supply receiving, inventory control, or a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas) and experience using ERP systems, particularly in inventory or procurement modules. Familiarity with healthcare management systems is a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
