About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Finance Functional Lead to join our global consulting and technology organization. As a key contributor to enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing finance operations and implementing large-scale SAP solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving finance excellence, optimizing financial processes, and delivering innovative solutions that align with our clients’ strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic and challenging role, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and customization of SAP FICO modules to meet evolving business requirements and enhance operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

• SAP FICO Module Leadership: Spearhead the configuration and customization of SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controlling, and Profitability Analysis, to support business process optimization and financial reporting excellence.
• Finance Data and Analytics: Develop and deliver finance data and analytics initiatives, such as cost planning, cost allocations, and budgeting activities, to provide actionable insights and drive informed decision-making across the organization.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions that align with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
• Workshop Facilitation: Conduct interactive workshops with business leaders to align project objectives, clarify functional needs, and ensure seamless integration of SAP solutions into existing workflows.
• Best Practices and Process Improvement: Provide expert guidance on SAP FICO best practices, configurations, and process improvements to enhance financial operations and maximize system performance.
• Team Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior consultants and lead project teams to ensure successful delivery, professional growth, and adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA FI/CO consulting and implementation experience, with a proven track record in leading SAP FICO projects and teams.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding of financial processes and SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controlling, and Profitability Analysis.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex financial challenges and develop innovative solutions that drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and foster productive working relationships.
