Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Information Technology Specialist to join our team in Madinah. Reporting directly to the IT Manager, this full-time position plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and managing key digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Odoo administration, IT support, and project coordination, with the ability to deliver solutions while adhering to best practices in security and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Odoo System Administration: Manage user access, system configuration, workflows, reports, and data quality across Odoo modules, including sales, POS, website, inventory, and accounting. Ensure seamless operation and alignment with business processes.
• IT Support Services: Provide first- and second-line technical support for the Madinah office, addressing issues related to computers, user accounts, network connectivity, email systems, and the ticketing system. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Website and Digital Platform Coordination: Oversee the delivery and maintenance of the Jawlah and City Sightseeing websites, ensuring functionality, performance, and user experience meet organizational standards.
• System and Device Support: Assist in the management and troubleshooting of the Commentary System and GPS devices, ensuring reliable operation for field and operational activities.
• Project and Agency Management: Collaborate with external agencies to gather requirements, manage project scope, conduct testing, and approve deliverables. Maintain control over project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Documentation and Security: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all IT systems, processes, and configurations. Implement and follow basic security protocols to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality.
• Cross-Location Support: Provide temporary coverage for Odoo administration duties in Riyadh during the specialist’s absence, ensuring continuity of service.

Requirements

• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in Odoo system administration, including configuration across multiple modules (sales, POS, website, inventory, accounting).
• General IT Skills: Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, computer hardware and software support, and familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
• Project and Stakeholder Management: Ability to write clear and concise technical requirements, manage external development teams, and ensure project deliverables meet specifications.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with terminal commands, Ubuntu operating system, PostgreSQL databases, and data analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with prior experience in managing agency relationships, coordinating digital projects, or supporting multimedia systems will be given preference. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous learning are essential for success in this role.
