The Accountant plays a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by managing and interpreting financial transactions. This role involves a broad range of responsibilities, including:

• Accurately recording and summarizing financial transactions.
• Collaborating in accounts payable, payroll, receivable management, and fixed asset processes.
• Overseeing month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Supporting external and internal audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Identifying and reporting any financial discrepancies or irregularities.
• Reconciling bank statements and promptly resolving any discrepancies.
• Maintaining robust accounting controls through strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Providing guidance to accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and addressing queries.
• Ensuring the security of financial information through regular database backups.
