About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Manager – Finance & Accounting to lead the financial strategy, operations, and transformation for Unified Real Estate Development (URED) and its subsidiaries. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader who will drive financial excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster innovation through digital transformation. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted business partner to the CFO and executive leadership, providing financial insights, governance, and leadership to elevate the organization’s financial performance and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Leadership

  • Provide strategic oversight and governance across Finance & Accounting functions, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Tax, and Treasury.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans, manpower plans, and departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Finance & Accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Drive the digital transformation of financial processes through automation tools such as Yardi, real-time Power BI dashboards, and AI-assisted reporting solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional governance initiatives and deliver performance reports to the CFO and VP Support Services.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict adherence to IFRS and Saudi GAAP standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks, including VAT, Zakat, Withholding Tax (WHT), and ZATCA e-invoicing requirements.
  • Lead statutory audit processes, manage relationships with external auditors, and proactively resolve audit findings to maintain audit readiness.
  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial reports for URED and its subsidiaries, including thorough intercompany reconciliations.
  • Ensure all financial records are audit-ready and compliant with local and international accounting standards.

Treasury & Capital Management

  • Manage treasury operations, including cash flow planning, banking relationships, and credit facility oversight.
  • Monitor investment portfolio performance and provide strategic recommendations to the CFO on capital allocation and financial risk management.
  • Ensure financial discipline through accurate cash flow forecasting, transparent cost reporting, and robust financial controls across all business units.
  • Deliver executive-level reporting on financial performance, risk exposure, and treasury positioning to support informed decision-making.

Business Partnering & Strategic Analysis

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support critical business decisions, including property acquisitions, development feasibility studies, lease pricing strategies, and capital allocation.
  • Collaborate with department heads to optimize budget management, implement cost controls, and drive financial performance improvements.
  • Present comprehensive financial performance reports, forecasts, and strategic analyses to the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
  • Champion the adoption of AI-assisted financial tools and advanced analytics to transition from reactive reporting to proactive, data-driven insights.

People Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounting team, building capability and succession plans for all critical roles.
  • Conduct mid-year and annual performance appraisals for all direct reports, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Identify talent gaps and implement targeted training and development initiatives to enhance team competencies and leadership readiness.
  • Promote a high-performance culture rooted in compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement across the function.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is required.
  • A Master’s Degree (MBA or MSc in Finance) is considered an advantage.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in the real estate, property management, or a closely related sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, Saudi GAAP, VAT, Zakat, and WHT regulations.
  • Extensive experience leading audit processes and managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Demonstrated success in driving financial process transformation and developing high-performing finance teams.
