Role and Responsibilities

As a Staff Nurse (Prometric), you will play a pivotal role in providing direct patient care across a variety of specialized units, including medical-surgical, ICU, ER, and specialty departments, under the supervision of attending physicians. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of clinical duties designed to ensure optimal patient recovery and well-being:

• Patient Care Delivery: Administer medications with precision, monitor vital signs rigorously, and conduct comprehensive clinical assessments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and Saudi Ministry of Health (MOH) standards.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous and accurate records of patient progress within electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring full compliance with Prometric certification requirements and regulatory mandates.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote patient education, recovery, and safe discharge readiness.
• Emergency Response: Demonstrate clinical judgment and rapid decision-making in emergency situations, providing life-saving interventions while strictly adhering to hospital safety protocols and infection control policies to safeguard patients and staff.
• Professional Development: Actively participate in mandatory training sessions, including code blue drills, and engage in continuous professional development initiatives to maintain licensure, uphold Prometric eligibility, and enhance clinical competencies.

Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and competencies:

• Certifications: Valid and active Prometric Certification, along with an active Saudi Ministry of Health (MOH) license or eligibility to practice.
• Life Support Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications to ensure preparedness for critical care scenarios.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong aptitude for clinical documentation and patient assessment.

While the above qualifications are mandatory, the following attributes are highly desirable and will enhance your candidacy:

• Specialized Experience: Prior experience in ICU or ER settings, or exposure to pediatric or oncology nursing, providing you with a broader clinical skill set.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic, ranging from basic to conversational, to facilitate effective communication with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.
