Service Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for a technical professional with a passion for maintaining and repairing heavy machinery while delivering exceptional customer service. The Service Engineer will be responsible for performing comprehensive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, skid loaders, and wheel loaders. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, minimize downtime, and enhance client satisfaction through timely and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Field Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for heavy machinery to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
• Technical Diagnostics: Perform accurate and efficient diagnostics to identify technical issues, followed by practical and sustainable solutions to restore equipment functionality.
• Client Support & Satisfaction: Provide high-quality technical support to clients, addressing their concerns professionally and ensuring their satisfaction with service outcomes.
• Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular performance checks on equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate, maintaining optimal operational standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precise and up-to-date service records, including details of maintenance activities, repairs, and diagnostics performed on each piece of equipment.
• Team Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with clients and internal teams to resolve technical challenges, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the process.
• Adaptability & Efficiency: Operate in diverse and dynamic field environments, managing time, resources, and priorities to meet service deadlines and client expectations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and field service of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, skid loaders, and wheel loaders.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in maintenance, repair, and technical support with a strong emphasis on reliability and problem-solving.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact professionally with clients and team members, ensuring clarity and understanding in all technical discussions.
• Independence & Adaptability: Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced and varied on-site environments, adapting to changing conditions and priorities as needed.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant technical certifications and practical familiarity with heavy machinery will be considered a significant advantage.
