Food & Beverage Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the operations of our esteemed establishment, Le Petit Trouvillais, located in the vibrant city of Mecca. Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Food & Beverage department, including restaurants, bars, and catering services, to ensure seamless execution and adherence to brand standards.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement development programs.
• Financial Performance: Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards. Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Guest Experience: Ensure an outstanding dining experience for guests by maintaining rigorous standards for food quality, presentation, and service. Address guest feedback promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Supplier & Inventory Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure high-quality ingredients and products. Oversee inventory control, procurement, and waste reduction initiatives to optimize efficiency.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as local and international food safety standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold compliance.
• Innovation & Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menus that align with customer preferences and market trends. Introduce creative concepts and seasonal offerings to enhance the dining experience.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including front office, housekeeping, and executive leadership, to align goals and deliver a cohesive guest experience. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A certification in Food & Beverage Management or culinary arts is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and P&L management is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with industry-standard POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles is required.
• Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve guest complaints professionally.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable. Additional languages are a valuable asset.
